Our History

Apollo Amusement has been a family owned and operated business for over 50 years.

My father John Chigaras, started the company with 17 jukebox locations in 1955, which was called Apollo Music back then. He focused on always having the best sound systems and providing prompt service.

In 1975 when the first video game Pong came out, he purchased 5 machines. Not knowing at the time, that Pong would start the video game era of the 70's to present time.

In 1981 when I was 14, I started working for the company cleaning and overhauling pinball machines on the weekends. My brother Tony followed a few years later.

In the mid 80's we changed the name to Apollo Amusement, to reflect our company's evolution of providing all types of amusement machines to our customers.

In 2011 my father retired after 56 years in the business. My brother Tony and I have always focused on applying the same principles that our father stated the company with:

Providing the best sound systems, latest equipment, and prompt personal service to our customers.
